Niamh Buckley, Ph.D.Niamh Buckley, Ph.D., is an oncology analyst at Decision Resources. An expert in breast and ovarian cancer, she has authored several reports on current and emerging treatments for these diseases in the major and emerging pharmaceutical markets. Prior to joining Decision Resources, she worked as a postdoctoral scientist and was involved in several international translational breast cancer research projects. Most recently, she analyzed drug resistance and chromosomal instability in breast cancer. Dr. Buckley has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and abstracts and has presented data at international cancer conferences. She obtained a B.Sc. in biotechnology and a Ph.D. in molecular oncology from Trinity College in Ireland.

Janie Cox, Ph.D.Janie Cox, Ph.D., manages Decision Resources’ European Physician & Payer Forum portfolio, which analyzes insights from both physicians and payers to get a true sense of how both parties determine access to the EU5 pharmaceutical markets. Previously, Dr. Cox specialized in analysis of the non-small-cell lung cancer market. Prior to joining the company, she was a managing editor at Thomson Reuters, where her primary responsibility was providing information disclosed at major pharmaceutical conferences as content for Thomson Pharma and the IDdb. Dr. Cox holds a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol and a B.Sc. in immunology and microbiology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. She has also worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Institute for Animal Health.

Ben DuncanBen Duncan is a senior analyst for Decision Resources’ commercial research product suite, Pharmaview, which analyzes the commercial and therapeutic strategy of the leading biopharmaceutical companies, including forecasts for more than 1,400 products across all therapeutic areas. Mr. Duncan focuses primarily on drug development and company strategy analysis related to metabolic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, obesity, growth hormone-related disorders, osteoporosis and the lysosomal storage disorders. He holds a B.Sc. in psychology from Warwick University.

Neil Grubert, M.A.Neil Grubert, M.A., is the director of pricing and reimbursement research, with responsibility for Spectrum’s Pharmaceutical Pricing, Reimbursement, and Market Access portfolio, and has written more than 100 reports in this subject area. Mr. Grubert has been with Decision Resources for 14 years and was previously a project manager, authoring Decision Resources’ Pharmacor and DecisionBase reports on a wide range of CNS and immune/inflammatory disorders. Before joining Decision Resources, he spent several years at Nicholas Hall & Company, a leading authority on the worldwide market for nonprescription medicines. Mr. Grubert is a graduate of the University of London.

Andrew Merron Ph.D.Andrew Merron Ph.D., is the Biosimilars Advisory Service product director at Decision Resources. Prior to managing the Biosimilars Advisory Service, Dr. Merron was a senior analyst in the oncology department at Decision Resources. He has extensive experience in forecasting oncology and hematology-oncology drug markets as well as considerable experience in conducting primary research with physicians and payers across the major pharmaceutical markets. Through his analyses, Dr. Merron identifies key market findings and highlights their strategic importance. Prior to joining Decision Resources, Dr. Merron received his B.Sc. in biochemistry from the University of Bath and his Ph.D. in molecular oncology from the University of London. His doctorate focused on in vivo molecular imaging of cancer gene therapies, specifically oncolytic adenoviruses.

Jennifer Robinson is the President of BioTrends Research Group, a division of Decision Resources, Inc. that specializes in syndicated research aimed at understanding commercial dynamics in specialty pharmaceutical and biotech markets. The company specializes in nephrology, immunology and neurology. Prior to founding BioTrends, Jennifer worked in multiple strategic global marketing positions at Genzyme Renal. She obtained a B.Sc. in Marketing at Arizona State University.

Donny Wong, Ph.D.Donny Wong, Ph.D., is the therapeutic area director for metabolic disorders at Decision Resources, where he manages a team of research analysts who focus on chronic metabolic disorders such as diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, diabetic complications and osteoporosis. Dr. Wong has extensive knowledge of the drug markets for type 1 and type 2 diabetes and his research, analysis and commentaries have appeared in numerous media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Pharmaceutical Executive, Forbes, In Vivo, PharmaVoice, Wired magazine and BBC America. His previous experience includes 12 years of scientific research conducted at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Praecis Pharmaceuticals and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Dr. Wong attended MIT and Williams College and earned M.M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University.
